Cross Cultural/Volunteer & Community Experience
- Volunteered with La Sabranenque restoration project as a stone mason in Saint Victor la Coste, France in June 2006, June 2007, July 2009, August 2011 and July 2012.
- Volunteered at University of Livingstonia, Malawi, Central Africa assisting with a transcript project in June, 2008
- Volunteered with American Refugee Committee assisting an ethnic Lao family of 5 in Minneapolis for 1 1/2 years helping them deal with a new language and new culture.
- Telephone company Community Service Team leader and member for 17 years.
Hobbies
Traveling, hiking, camping, back packing, golfing, gardening (flowers), reading (fiction, biographies, travelogues), biking, and cross country skiing
