Promoting Interdisciplinary Research on International Migration

The IHRC is an interdisciplinary research center in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota. It collaborates with a large group of faculty and students (numbering over 100) who share interests in international migration and its consequences, notably the creation and historical transformation of racially, ethnically, linguistically and religiously diverse nations in the U.S. and around the world. The IHRC provides resources for developing interdisciplinary projects and supporting research seminars, workshop, lectures, exhibits and conferences.
