Making Scholarship Accessible to Students, Teachers, and the Public

Through an active schedule of publishing (increasingly web-based), and programming for diverse audiences, the IHRC seeks to translate highly specialized scholarship into forms that are useful to non-specialists. It sponsors exhibits, lectures, and workshops that are open to the public, provides information and assistance to public school teachers and journalists, publishes a weekly column of comment on immigration news, and provides access to primary documents and lesson plans useful to students and teachers at all levels.
