An editor, Matteo Teresi (1875-ca. 1970) was born in Alia, Palermo, Italy, and came to the United States in 1907 after receiving his education at Liceo and the University of Palermo, where he practiced law. Soon after his arrival in the United States, he became associated with Calogero Cappellino, a banker in Rochester, New York. Teresi was editor of L'Araldo and author of many books and articles.
