An engineer and translator, Oksana Solovey (1919- ) was born in Poltava, Ukraine. She was educated at the University of Kharkiv and the University of Minnesota, and worked for Waterous Co. (St. Paul, Minn.) Solovey also worked as a translator and editor for companies and publications in the United States and Canada and was active in Ukrainian American organizations.Mainly in Ukrainian; some English.
