The Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, founded in 1873, is a fraternal insurance, cultural, recreational, and sports organizaton. It sponsors educational and religious tours to Canada and Europe, gives financial assistance to students, aids elderly and disable members, and sponsors sports activities. The Union has about 129,000 members with branches in 25 states. It has its headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. It publishes Narod Polski.
