Abstract: Papers (1973-1983) of Italian American author Octavia Capuzzi Waldo Locke (b. 1929) consist of two published stories written by her, a typescript, galley proofs of her first novel A Cup of the Sun (written under the name Octavia Waldo; photocopies of newspaper and magazine articles, and a copy of a literary journal containing her short story, "The Collection".

HISTORICAL SKETCH

Locke received her B.A. from Temple University (Philadelphia, Pennsylvia), was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to the Academy of Fine Arts (Rome, Italy) and was an artist in painting and ceramics as well as an author.
