HISTORICAL SKETCH

Josip Kraja (1891- ) was born in Dubrovnik and immigrated to the United States in 1907. He settled in Youngstown, Ohio, where he owned a printing company and published several foreign language newspapers. He was editor of Hrvatska Stampa. Kraja also served several times as president of the National Croatian Circle.
