Dates: 1884-1970
Abstract: Records consist of baptism, confirmation, communion, marriage, and funeral registers; minutes of sub-organizations and the church board; and financial ledgers. Also included are records (1891-1932) of the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Church of Jacobsville, MI, a preaching station for Gloria Dei, and records (1899-1962) of Salem Swedish ELC of Hancock, which merged with St. Matthew's Finnish ELC in 1965 to become Gloria Dei.
