Abstract: The John Felice Order Sons of Italy in America collection (1975-1985) includes convention books and minutes of the Virginia Grand Lodge (1976-1981); financial reports (1980-1985); miscellaneous officer lists and correspondence (1975-1985); and a Supreme Convention book (1981). Also included are minutes and miscellaneous materials pertaining to local lodges including Amici D'Italia Lodge No. 2471 (Woodbridge, Va.), Avanti Italiani Lodge No. 238 (Alexandria, Va.), Italian Heritage Cultural and Fellowship Society Lodge No. 2517 (Manassas, Va.), George Washington Lodge No. 2038 (Vienna, Va.), Leonardo Da Vinci Lodge No. 2500 (Manassas, Va.), Peninsula Italian-American Lodge No. 2145 (Hampton, Va.), and Roma Lodge No. 254 (Norfolk, Va.)

HISTORICAL SKETCH

John Felice was elected Grand Venerable of the OSIA Virginia Grand Lodge in 1987 and served as Assistant Grand Venerable (1983-1985). The Virginia Grand Lodge was founded in 1922 and reactivated in 1949.
