PROVENANCE

Collection transferred to the IHRC from the Estonian Archives in the U.S.A. (EAU) in 2003-2005. It was processed as part of a collaborative project between the Estonian Archives in the USA (Lakewood, NJ), the National Archives of Estonia (NAE), and the IHRC in March 2009. Gristel Ramler and Birgit Nurme of the National Archives in Tallin, Estonia, worked with IHRC staff on the project.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COLLECTION

Collection is organized into six folders: 1. Clippings and copies about E. Tubin 2. Printed music books "Estonian Dance Suite" 1965, "Süit eesti karjaseviisidest klaverile" 1960 (with autograph), "Kümme soololaulu. Zehn Gesänge" [i.a] 3. "Kolme lauluga" by E. Tubin, clipping from magazine "Mana" 1962/2 4. Programme of New York Philharmonic 1996 5. "Eduard Tubin" by Harri Kiisk, 1956 with as a gift to Helene Purre from author 6. Copies of works from Estonian composers (copies from music sheets)
