Collection transferred to the IHRC from the Estonian Archives in the U.S.A. (EAU) in 2003-2005. It was processed as part of a collaborative project between the Estonian Archives in the USA (Lakewood, New Jersey), the National Archives of Estonia (NAE), and the IHRC in March 2012. Gristel Ramler and Tiina Trumberg of the National Archives in Tallinn, Estonia, worked with IHRC staff on the project.

Graduated from Petseri Gymnasium in Estonia in 1938. 1944 escaped to Germany with her family, started medical studies in Frankfurt University. 1955 Dr. med from Frankfurt University 1955 went to USA. Graduated from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C, diploma in criminal justice in 1961 . Took medical license exams in Virginia in 1958 and in 1964. Certified by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in April 1963. Diplomate certificate in Psychiatry 1964. Member of many medical organizations: American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, Medical Society of Women Physicians (USA), Neuropsychiatric Society of Virginia (USA), Richmond Academy of Medicine (USA), Virginia State Medical Society (USA).
