PROVENANCE

Collection transferred to the IHRC from the Estonian Archives in the U.S.A. (EAU) in 2003-2005. It was processed as part of a collaborative project between the Estonian Archives in the USA (Lakewood, NJ), the National Archives of Estonia (NAE), and the IHRC in March 2009. Gristel Ramler and Birgit Nurme of the National Archives in Tallin, Estonia, worked with IHRC staff on the project.

12.11.1883 - 11.11.1940 Tartu, Estonia Born in Vardi, Viljandimaa, Estonia. Husband: Kustas Utuste (married in 1913 as Kirschbaum, since 1923 Utuste). Writer, pedagogue, one of the leaders of the Taara-religion movement in Estonia

DESCRIPTION OF THE COLLECTION

Collection is organized into three foldres: 1. "Kummituste õhtu" - play (typewriting) and music sheets (handwritten), letter about posting the music sheets 2. "Vabariigi aastapäeva pühitsemise kava" (typewriting with handwritten notes) "Tähtpäevade laulude ja kõneluste sõnad" (typewriting with handwritten notes) "Valgootepäeva (28. november) pühitsemise kava" (typewriting with handwritten notes, 16 p) "Skandaal. Näitekatkend läinud sajandi pöördelt" (typewriting, 23 p) 3. Prints: "T. Vettiku 13 segakoori laulu" (with notes and autograph by M. Lepp-Utuste) "Koorilaulud I" by E. Võrk (with notes by M.
