Collection transferred to the IHRC from the Estonian Archives in the U.S.A. (EAU) in 2003-2005. It was processed as part of a collaborative project between the Estonian Archives in the USA (Lakewood, NJ), the National Archives of Estonia (NAE), and the IHRC in March 2009. Gristel Ramler and Birgit Nurme of the National Archives in Tallin, Estonia, worked with IHRC staff on the project.

Collection is organized into four folders: 1. Letter from Elmar and Aino Järvesoo, copies of articles and clippings with biographical data of E. and A. Järvesoo (1990-2001) 2. Elmar Järvesoo's research papers, brochures articles about ariculture in Sowiet Estonia and Universities of Tartu (period 1802-1917) and Riga (period 1863-1919) 3. Prints: "An Appeal for Freedom of Estonia. A memorandum signed by 18000 Estonian refugees in Germany and addressed to the President of the United States of America and the Prime Minister of Great Britain"; "Sources of Vital Information and Inspiration on Co-operation" parts I, II by Artur Ekbaum (1959, 1960, manuscripts in typewriting); "Die Wirtschaft Sowjetestlands" by Aleksander Kütt (Institutum Balticum, 1962); 4. Learning materials and article (reprint from magazine "Journal of Home Economics") by Aino Järvesoo
