| Abstract: | The Mario Ciccotelli Order Sons of Italy in America, Gloria e Luce Lodge No. 1430 (Chicago Heights, Ill.) collection (1936-1987) includes minutes, financial records, correspondence and bulletings and other materials. Included are lodge minutes (1936-1944); a dues payment ledger (1949-1954); medical certificates for sickness benefits awarded (1956-1960); correspondence and bulletins (1953-1960); a report of the Soccer Club (1954-1955); and reports of film showings (1953-1956). Also included are "Surge et Age," a Supreme Lodge movies about the Cassino Orphanage, along with a photograph of the 1965 Grand Convention, minutes and reports of the 1985 and 1987 conventions, grand council minutes from 1986, Supreme Lodge resolutions ratified by the grand lodge (1955), Supreme Lodge records including National President reports (1953-1957), and Leonard Pasqualicchio's statement regarding immigration policy. Artifacts include regalia, convention ribbons, an officer's vest, and a ceremonial sword. | |

Mario Ciccotelli was born in Le Manche and came to the United States in 1947. He has served as Order Sons of Italy in America, Illinois Grand Trustee (1967-1973, 1985-1987), and has been president of the Luce e Gloria Lodge No. 1430 (Chicago Heights, Ill.)
